It can be so hard to truly accept and appreciate each stretch mark, dimple, scar. What helps me is to remind myself that being a person is hard. Getting out of the bed some days is hard. I recently started to do yoga, where my instructors talk a lot about #3 through the lens of not pushing ourselves past our thresholds just to be able to say we've done a pose.
